DR. ZAC SNOW
Doctor of Physical Therapy, BikePT, Bike Fitter, Owner
Dr. Zac Snow DPT, BikePT was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, but grew up in Southeast Kansas later attending Pittsburg State University. Zac earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2014 and has been practicing in sports and orthopedics ever since. While in graduate school, Zac participated in endurance sports ranging from 5k’s to marathons and eventually transitioned to triathlon. Following the 2017 Ironman Texas, Zac hung up his running shoes and swim cap in pursuit of cycling. He grew to enjoy all aspects of cycling from road to mountain, competitive to party-pace. Zac has participated in the Big Dam Bridge 100, Gorilla Century, Joe Martin Stage Race, The MidSouth as well as numerous gravel events big and small. He is an avid mountain biker who enjoys exploring the continuously developing NWA landscape.
After developing painful issues on the bike, Dr. Snow became professionally certified by industry leaders, Erik Moen MSPT, Kevin Schmidt MSPT, and Jay Dicharry MSPT. Through their instruction Zac learned the intricacies of bike fitting and treating cyclists of all levels and disciplines. Crankworks PT was born in 2019 to bring high-quality, professional bike fitting to Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region. Zac’s vision is to combine sports and orthopedic physical therapy with bike fitting to optimize the enjoyment of riding and bring something special to our cycling ecosystem. He has been assembling his own bicycles since 2021 and enjoys designing the "right tool for the job".
Outside of cycling, Zac is happily married and has three children. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors with them by bike, foot or kayak. He adheres to practicing what he preaches through exercise, cycling, nutrition, training, yoga, and meditation.
THE CRANKWORKS PT STORY
The Intersection of Physical Therapy and Bicycling
Crankworks PT was born of necessity in 2019 after on-the-bike pain kept our owner, Zac, off the bike for quite some time. Since then, Crankworks PT has grown to offer bike-specific physical therapy practices, mobile bike fitting, and concierge services.
Crankworks PT was first to offer Arkansans with professional bike fitting and bike-centric physical therapy by a doctor of physical therapy.

Crankworks PT has been the official bike fit and service provider of the University of Arkansas Cycling Race Team and Club since 2019.
